Bur Mandinein Chhu Naa Sirr naa Sadaa

Dummdarrie Patchie, Taarun Pyaath Sheen,

Sheenus Tal Guvv Laanji Hundh Oall,

Kaaw chhu Naalaan ,Thhukk Peand Raavis,

Kattie Annie Bataa phoal Yaa Tcheochi Pyoont

Hoona Pokk Boachhi Hoat laett Gilvaan

Sheenus tal Roavuss Chhotaa Deir

Broar Chhu Doassi pyaath Subah Pyaath Phyaangaan

Soanchaan Boachhi Kyaa karrie Nausheen

Subahayee Poak Kuss Taam Sheenus Pyaath

Assi Vuchh Katie Aav Koat Taam Voat

Vaavo Kuthh Pratchehayee Poaz Vanakhaa

Tuss Voanthaa Zaanh Assi Gayee Braaent

( Snowfall )

Time has come to halt in this Half lit darkness ,

At Noon , wholesome silence ,no word or movement ,

Snow on windows and on pole wires ,

The nest on the branch too lies buried in snow ,

The crow turns gloomy with loss of the resting place,

Where shall it get the grains or the bread pieces ?

The dog moves wagging its tail in hunger

For the filth heap that lies buried under snow,

The cat mews on compound wall since morning ,

Keeps thinking “What can this snowfall offer to hunger ?”

And Someone stepped out on fresh snow so early

We could guess from where did he come and where did he go.

O Breeze! Be truthful should we seek a clarification

Did you convey to that beloved of ours

That Every one is mistaken for him now
